Well I finally got my web site back. Some hadker made it unusable and it took me a long time to fix it.

This blog is intendeed to tell about life in Japan, both in general and for Yoko san and me. I hope you find t interesting.

We arrived in Tokyo on June 19th. Yoko san came for af few weeks in April and found this apartment. I will describe it later. She did a lot of walking wheile here, and when she returnd to Marblehead she had a sore right knee. It got worrs, affecting her right side from sine to foot. When we flew here, she was having a great deal of trouble walking,a and we used the airport’s wheel chair services at both ends. We wee met by her friend and taken to a hotel. The next day she visited a doctor, and has seen some sot of medical person (acupunturist, practitioner, and doctor) almost every day. The city has provided cleeaning services, beds, and more for her. She is improving steadily.

Oour belongings are coming by ship. We were toke it would arrive the end of August, but now it is to be the end of September..Don’t know how long it takes to get through customs. So we have minimal clothing, minmal dining ware, no bookks, etc. But Japanese say less is more, so we are getting along.

I had lunch with the former mayor of Ota – now the p resident of the OTa Salem Club. I was invited to speak at their annual meeting last October.

I have a mail forwarding service in Texas, so you can send snail meil there. Our email addresses are unchanged. Of course the phone numbers are new, but you don’t want to callus here – use email or Facetime or Line or SMS.

I will get my act together soon and start some hopefully interesting posts.
