1955 09 Arlene Lois Pendelton

Early in my senior year, a freshman fraternity member asked me if I would drive him to Albany State Teacher’s College (now New York University, Albany) to pick up his girlfriend. He said he would fix me up with a blind date. That turned out to be Penny. We hit it off and became a ‘thing’, eventually marrying after I graduated. She quit school after her sophomore year, and moved to New Jersey with me.

April 20, 1958 – we were married in Chenango Bridge, NY. We honeymooned in Washington, DC, because we could do lots of free museums, etc.
