Nouns

NOUNS

 

Nouns are nouns, whether Japanese, English, or whatever.   However,

 

Japanese nouns do not have gender, as – for instance  Spanish.

 

Japanese nouns do no use articles such as a, the, an.

 

Japanese nouns are singular only – there is no plural form

 

As in English, nouns can be compound: as Japanese
